Karen was born on 3rd February, 1966. She was much loved and will always be remembered by all her friends and family. Her hobbies included walking, swimming, keeping active and enjoying living life to the max. She leaves behind a legacy and fond memories to all who knew her. Her family and friends are determined to make her legacy live on and to help others who suffer from MND. Karen sadly lost her battle with MND in July 2013 a battle which she fought to the very end, using the same mental strength and determination she used to succeed in her outstanding swimming career. To raise awareness and money for the 'Karen Plane Memorial Fund' in conjunction with the MND Association we will be doing a variety of events and any fund raising events organised or donations received will be very much appreciated.
